Real change would put power back in the people's hands, not more power concentrated in Washington. This is the biggest problem in our political system and Obama doesn't want to "change" this crisis, he only wants to exacerbate it. The rising generation today is fortunate enough to stand on the shoulders of the many generations before us that built America. Before this generation becomes responsible for handing over the sacred keys of the White House, we should ask, Who is the Real Barack Obama? This book arms voters with substantive research that they can use to learn more about where Obama stands on the important economic, national security, and social issues, and expose his background, character, and far left ideology. ±1±: Best Buy This book is a must read for all, especially Democrats and Independents. As a former Gore and Kerry supporter, I was skeptical at first, but this book was an eye opener. This book looks at Obama's record as a US Senator and attempts to do the same with his record as a state senator.

It also looks at the mentors who shaped Obama's philosophy during the early stages of his adult life and political career. The authors do a good job at separating Obama's philosophy from his speeches. They also do a good job at examining the liberation theology espoused by Obama's former pastor Rev Wright. This examination refrains from discussing the controversial comments replayed during the last several months. Rather, it looks at the core philosophy of this type of theology and the implications it may have on an Obama presidency.

Overall, this book does a good job of showing that Obama's centrist type speeches do not always ring true and it shows how he has some of the most far left views on taxes, government programs, education, abortion, and foreign policy. The only reason I refrain from giving it five stars is that the authors were not able to examine several of the records during Obama's years as a state senator. However, they claim they were not able to do this because these records have been unavailable for public review. on Sale!

This absence has prevented informed debate about a hugely important part of the development of international criminal law.

Written in a unique style that is often in the present tense, the effect is chilling in that the reader at times feels as if he is moving through history while at the same time knowing that a train wreck is on the horizon. It is a meticulous documentation of Obama's life from birth until his first one hundred days in office.

Fredrick occasionally speculates and usually tells why he thinks what he thinks but that is not the bulk of the book. It is mostly a chronology of events, associations, statements, and actions, made by Obama and others closely related to him. The result is a preponderance of evidence that this man is dangerous, and poses a great threat to America's existence.

Every step of the way, Obama is aligned with Marxists, Socialists, Islamic Extremist, racists, and corrupt individuals. This book, however, is not sensational. It is a relentless presentation of facts, not a collection of hyperbole. When Mr. Fredrick does give his opinion it is well informed and brutally honest.
